VIa Ferrata "Sisi"
The interesting Via Ferrata is named after the empress, who is said to have conquered Loser Mountain on her own. It earned the "panorama” label because the view across the Styrian Salzkammergut and to the Dachsteins is simply awesome.
Award for the “Sisi” Panorama Via Ferrata
The well-known Austrian outdoor magazine “Land der Berge” had a “Best of Klettersteig” feature. A jury of experts judged most European Via Ferratas and chose winners in 9 categories (the longest, the most difficult, the most difficult section, the most adventurous, the oldest, the newest, the steepest, etc.).
The "Sisi" Via Ferrata won the category “Best Views”.
The tourist attraction was planned by Markus Raich and built together with Andreas Staudacher and Reini Ranner. Annually, more than 4,000 people tackle the panorama Via Ferrata on Loser Mountain in Altaussee.
